My name is
Annemieke Romeijn
Born in rural Friesl
and in 1967, I grew up in a strict and Christian family. The happy sixties and seventies took place at an inconceivable distance from where I was. I was good at school, I could study anything. But my deepest concerns were about God.
So I studied theology.
I was a minister for eight years, unconventional in my approach as I was determined to get my female voice heard in religious matters. It took a while before I realised that I could not change the establishment all by myself and I left the church altogether. Craniosacral therapy helped me to find my feet again.
In 2021 I became a trustee for the Craniosacral Therapy Association.
